About the Show
The Sports Report with Ryan Bass is a weekly sports-talk radio show that discusses UCF, Miami, Orlando and national sports as well as the hot-button issues in the world of sports. Co-hosting The Sports Report with Ryan Bass is the “New York Sports Guy”, Matt Fontana, who sits in alongside Ryan to give his opinion on every topic discussed on the show. Ryan’s in-depth sports knowledge along with Matt’s witty, strong analysis makes The Sports Report with Ryan Bass the number one place to be on Tuesday’s to talk sports. Ryan brings on a variety of different guests on the show including George O’Leary (UCF Head Football Coach), Israel Gutierrez (Miami Herald columnist), Mike Bianchi (Orlando Sentinel columnist), Leaonard Marshall (Former NY Giants Super Bowl winning linebacker), and many more.

Ryan Bass
Born in Miami, FL, Ryan came to Knightcast during the summer of his freshman term at the University of Central Florida. Along with being the host of The Sports Report, Ryan is the Sports Editor of the Central Florida Future and covers the UCF Football, Men’s Basketball and Baseball teams for the paper. He also fills the role of Knightcast’s Sports Programming Manager. Ryan has also been an intern for The Miami Herald, a freelance writer for the Orlando Sentinel, and has served as a screen caller and fill-in producer for WAXY Sports-Talk 790 “The Ticket” in Miami. Ryan’s favorite sports teams include the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Florida Marlins and UCF Knights.
Matt Fontana
Before moving to Boca Raton, FL at the age of 15, Matt Fontana grew up in Westchester County, New York. Referred to as the “New York Sports Guy” for his love and knowledge of New York sports, Matt is a die-hard New York Giants and New York Mets fan. Matt joined Knightcast in the summer of his freshman year at UCF and made his first appearance as Ryan’s co-host on The Sports Report with Ryan Bass. Matt was a sports reporter for The West Side Story, a weekly newspaper for West Boca Raton High School and currently serves as a color analyst for Knightcast sports. Matt is a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity and competes in numerous intramural sports. In addition to the Giants and Mets, Matt is a huge New York Islanders and UCF Knights fan.
