7:01 – I’m in the booth doing my pre-game preparations for the game today. Stay tuend to the website for live updates of the game.

7:24 – Fans are starting to fill the stands. Nice crowd for the Knights student section. Miami brought a large crowd, as expected.

START OF GAME:

FIRST QUARTER:

14:56 – Miami recieves the kickoff and will start at the 28-yard-line.

14:45 – 17-yard pass from Harris to start the game, first down Miami.

13:48 – First down pass from Harris to Hankerson.

12:46 – UCF sniffs out Miami reverse, stops Benjamin behind the line for a loss of seven.

11:59 – Darius Nall comes up with the HUGE sack on Jacory Harris. Knights stop Miami on third down.

11:20 – UCF’s first possesion of the game results in 6-yard gain off a run from Brynn Harvey.

9:59 – Hodges rushes up the middle for UCF’s first third down conversion of the game.

9:24 – Miami LB Sean Spence just dropped a sure interception.

7:31 – 35-yard gain off a Hodges pass to Aiken as he got drilled. Great play for UCF.

5:35 – UCF stopped on third down, forced into a field goal. Cattoi shanked the FG wide left.

5:26 – Harris completes pass to Byrd for the first down.

3:58 – Miami nabs a first down off Harris’ 5-yard pass.

2:53 – Harris convertes on Miami’s fourth straight third down conversion as Miami is at UCF’s 23-yard-line.

1:46 – A 24-yard pass to Hankerson results in a touchdown in the back of the end zone, but the play is under review. Looks like he was in and it turns out he is. Touchdown Miami. 7-0 UM.

:45 – Spence sacks Hodges on a blitz play back on the UCF 2-yard-line. UCF is forced to punt.

:00 – UCF nearly got burned on a running back pass play as the ball was overthrown.

SECOND QUARTER:

14:43 – Knights are able to stop Harris and the Miami offense on third down. Harris threw back-to-back incompletions after starting the game 7-for-7.

12:57 – Harris gets the first down after a pick up of 12 yards. He now has eight completions to six different recievers.

11:50 – Miami calls timeout

11:44 – James runs for a 7-yard gain which results in a first down.

9:52 – Incomplete pass by Harris in the end zone, Miami settles for a 31-yard FG, which is good. 10-0 UM.

8:56 – Rocky Ross drops a first-down pass from Hodges.

8:10 – First down pass by Harris completed to Miami 31-yard-line for a first down.

5:51 – Benjamin nabs the first down catch again for Miami, 1st-and-10 at the UCF 46. It’s the fifth drive for the Hurricanes in UCF territory.

4:29 – Harris sacked by Hogue in the backfield. It’s UCF’s second sack on the day.

2:31 – Geathers sacks Harris and forces him to an intentional grounding play, Miami forced to punt.

1:30 – UCF has a 3rd-and-4 on the UCF 36-yard line, and gets a completed pass down the middle of the field for 19-yards to Ricky Kay.

:51 – UCF called for holding, negates first down catch by Harvey.

:00 – Miami knees the ball as UCF’s late drive was negated.

HALFTIME – MIAMI 10, UCF 0.

THIRD QUARTER:

14:53 – UCF’s McDuffie returns it to the UCF 37-yard-line.

14:47 – Guyton carries it on the reverse for a 14-yard gain.

14:28 – Spence sacks Hodges for a loss of nine yards after Hodges misses a wide open A.J. Guyton down the field.

13:54 – Byrd makes the long reception from Harris. 32-yard completion for the ‘Canes.

13:19 – James rushes it in from five yards out. Touchdownd Miami and they lead it 17-0.

11:52 – Hodges convertes on the 3rd-and-6. He picked up 15 yards on a pass to Giovanetti.

11:24 – Hodges completes the big play down field to Jamar Newsome for a 41-yard reception.

10:12 – UCF fumbled the ball, but got it back.

9:15 – Hodges completes it to Rocky Ross for a 5-yard TD pass. Knights pull within 10 at 17-7.

8:30 – James rushes for Miami first down to Miami 43-yard-line.

8:02 – Harris sacked by David Williams for a loss of six.

7:14 – Hurricanes fail to convert on third down, forced to punt.

7:08 – Botched snap, Miami kicker kicked ball out of end zone giving UCF the ball at the 2-yard-line.

6:11 – McCarthy intercepts Hodges on a deflected pass. Miami ball. UCF doesn’t get any points.

6:03 – Bruce Miller sacks Harris on the play. It’s UCF’s fifth sack on the day.

4:37 – Hankerson nabs the first down reception from Harris pass.

4:02 – Harris completes a wide-open pass to Collier for a 28-yard gain.

1:56 – 7-yard run by Harris reults in a 46-yard attempt for Miami, which is good. 20-7 Miami.

:42 – UCF facing 3rd-and-14 as Calabrese is in.

:20 – Harris completes the pass for 21-yards to Graham.

FOURTH QUARTER:

12:45 – Miami faces 3rd-and-7 from UCF 27-yard-line.

12:04 – James rushes for third down conversion. It was an 11-yard gain.

10:46 – Berry runs it in from three yards out for the touchdown. Miami leads 27-7.
